Brief Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez Interview

Here is a short video clip about Grindhouse from Reelz.

Grindhouse Box Office Update and Why it matters

Grindhouse has now been in theaters for 17 days and its made $22,717,000. Which means after foreign and DVD releases and a possible re-release as separate films in the U.S it will make a nice profit. However, its still bad news for film fans. Real film fans know that box office profit and the quality of a film experience have nothing in common, but when great films do poorly it means we are less likely to see these types of films. Grindhouse was the first double feature in the mainstream in a long time, and its lack of success at the box office probably means it will be a long time before another one comes out. Grindhouse was meant to be an experience, I saw it in a packed showing and it was a blast start to finish. Do yourself a favor and see this one in the theater when you still have a chance.

Grindhouse on No Good TV

Here is the Grindhouse special that aired at No Good TV. I think it easily sets a new record for the number of times it uses the F word in a movie promo. This is not your typical EPK shit.

Grindhouse Posters

Just like the exploitation films that inspired Grindhouse, there are some great posters for this film. In a future post, we'll look at some classic "grindhouse" posters. For now check out the Grindhouse poster gallery
